Notes on visual perception

Interesting images to ponder and discuss

Example 1.
p o o l. X

p o o l. X, originally uploaded by ho1gersson.

- One of excellent examples: from pasivity to action; deliberate change of orientation of the initial photo alters the perception. Sometimes it takes very little, just a little WITT and you are there! A good lesson.

Example 2.
Bâle Art Basel "Conversation 3"

Bâle Art Basel "Conversation 3", originally uploaded by Tomawal.

just a remark on this: capturing the situation with the added value makes the art of its own - common use in many media.

Example 3.
Mulhouse-Rue Jacques Preiss "Le bleu de ......bleu..."
Mulhouse-Rue Jacques Preiss "Le bleu de ......bleu...", originally uploaded by Tomawal.

Another valuable lesson: interaction of natural and man-made, most interesting in extreme sizes.

Example 4. seek and you will find... OP ART

Example 5. Classical meets contemporary sculpture
Classical meets contemporary sculpture, originally uploaded by Le.Mat.

excellent example of contemporary witt; baloons adding to the thought, aren't they?
